Barely Buzzed Expresso Cheese
Yes, expresso cheese. It sounds nasty but it’s probably one of the best cheeses I’ve ever had in my life. We went to Silverlake Wine for a tasting Monday and they were serving this. WOW. Amazing. Get some.

A Big Bad Zin. Brochelle Vinyards 2006 Zinfandel →
A friend brought a bottle of this to my place for a dinner party I threw. Everyone in the place was floored by how big & bold this Zinfandel was. He is lucky enough to be a part of their wine club. I’ve seen bottles for sale on various websites but haven’t had much luck in a store. If you’re lucky enough to come across a bottle be sure to get it!

One of the best whites we had while in Sonoma. A fruit forward white that is subtle, slightly tart and smooth. We absolutely loved it. Not to mention that the Gundlach Bundschu winery is pretty damn cool…
Mayo Family Winery's 2006 Zinfandel, Ricci... →
Just back from Sonoma. After a tasting at the Mayo Family Winery we picked up a bottle of their 2006 Zinfandel Ricci. I opened the bottle the next night over dinner and wow. Me + half a bottle = Hammered. Alcohol content says 14.8 but those numbers had to have been altered. We really enjoyed this Zin, not to be missed.
